Cuba 1897 souvenir peso is it real?

I just got this one around,
what do you think is this a real one?
Or what shall be a good value?

​The dealer is well knows man, i bought from him italy 1911 5 lira And it was real for sure. Also he has plenty of gold coins and other valuable collecting items. This coin silver as he has prooved it by supermagnet test. And from this view i think he wont lie.

But I still have doubts of its authenticity. Besides, these are quite rare so a reputable dealer would've charged you a hefty amount for it.

​Diameter is 36mm, but i did not checked a thickness. He is asking 300$ for it and i think it is pretty reasonable price.

​To be honest i have several high value coins and once i thought about getting them graded by NGC. May you have any experience? Or how much that can cost?
